time for an update
I lead a boring life. As if you haven't already figured that out. I've been spending my weekends (or at least part of each weekend) at Katie's in Columbus with Joe, Katie and John. I've really liked this arrangement b/c obviously I get to see the boy and I get to see my friends. After everyone left ONU I was kinda afraid that we'd completely lose touch. My parents lost touch with their college friends and so did my brother for the most part. I'm finding that this isn't exactly true for the old members of the ONU Gaming society. Sure we don't see each other as often but we see each other more often than I had thought. Stef and Issac have volunteered to host a GS New Year's party at their appartment in Cleveland. Most of the group was at their wedding, at the bonfire party in Sept, and I suspect will be at John and Katie's wedding in July. It's really nice.
I realized that my died red hair isn't going to look good with the lavender gown that Katie chose for her bridesmaids. So that I don't completely clash I'm going to have to experiment with some box hair dyes to find one that both fits me and looks good with lavender. I'm thinking either a honey blond or a walnut brown (your opinions please, I'm naturally a light brown/dark blond). I will definately be going back to red after the wedding in July. I just have to figure out how to tell Ann (my stylist) that I'm going to let the red fade and use some boxed hair color. I do want her advice on color and how to protect my hair since I know changing it alot can damage it. I just don't see the sense in having her retouch my hair coming up in Jan when I want to experiment for Katie's wedding. I also can't afford to have her color it every time. Mom suggested just telling her the situation and asking for her advice. Which means I need to call and change it from and color and trim appointment to just a "trim and talk". I am definately going to have Ann re-trim and such right before the wedding so I don't have to worry about some stranger wanting to cut it.
Tiff called yesterday. The last we had heard they'd be coming home Jan 5th. When she called yesterday she said she kinda had a birthday present for dad. When I asked what she said "17 days". I was confused at first because Jan 5th is longer than 17 days. Tiff and Matthew will be home on the 29th. I'm excited but Joanna is requiring everyone to be available that day to do inventory. We're not even going to start til 6pm and go to whenever. I didn't say anything to her when I came in b/c Tiff doesn't know what time they'll be landing. Bailey, their Rottweiler will be coming in on a separate flight just for pets. We don't know when or where that will come in to. Either Dayton or Cinncinati. Do you think I should say something to Joanna asap or wait til I have a more accurate time?
