So I just got back from my weekend beach get-away. It was really awesome -- I didn't realize how much I needed a break until I was there. I pretty much just swam and read and ate lots of good food. Ahhh it was the best. It's kind of depressing going back to work today, but just have to do it.

On that note, I finished Ubik by Phillip Dick and it was ( Read more... )

I like the stability of a company? I don't even know haha

1) What's one thing you love about being an adult?
2) Is there any popular character from an anime/manga that everyone else loves that you dislike and why?
3) Where's the best place you've ever traveled to?
4) As a child, what did you want to be when you grow up?
5) If you were to perform in a circus, what would you do?

Oooh, get-aways are always awesome. They are so relaxing and stuff. ;w;

I should too read some of awesome books from that list from your previous post. Because summer is good time to read, yeah.

And high five for Digimon being the first one! And Taichi/Yamato too! Because it's so nostalgic. 8D

Yeah I never read much during the school year so I always try to cram a ton of books in over the summer.

And yes! I was so in love with Taichi/Yamato -- it really is so nostalgic ♥

It was SO nice and relaxing.

1)Are you the same person you were as a child, or much different?
2)If you could be reincarnated as a character from a piece of fiction, presumably destined to live through the exact same events that make up their respective story/life, who would it be? And why?
3)What song always makes you happy when you hear it?
4)If you had to change your name, what would you change it to?
5)What was the last movie you saw in the theater? Was it good?

I love sci-fi novels, so thanks for the rec! :)

I was and am very interested in Materials Science Engineering, as well! It's really a very far-reaching subject, with applications in almost all the different branches of technological innovation. :)

Give it to me baby!

Wait... you're interested in Materials Science Engineering??? /bounces up and down in excitement

Are you serious? Ahh most people haven't even heard of it. Well if you ever want to talk more about it, definitely let me know! I could go on and on about how much I love it. I'm getting a PhD in materials science right now hahaha.

Okay

1) What's your favorite sci-fi novel?

2) Which is the one romance depicted in the movies that you would want to experience in your life?

3) If your life had a theme song, what song would it be?

4) What was your favorite toy when you were a kid?

5) What things put you in a good mood?

Yeah, my Dad introduced it to me :) He actually majored in Chemical Engineering :O
It's not going to be my major, but I really would love to study it on the side; practically every other field of engineering is affected by it, if you think about it XD I'd talk about it more, but I haven't really started learning about it in depth yet, so it would all be a layman's analysis -_- Science Knowledge Battle: Grad Student > High School Senior :P (I'll probably be studying it further this year, though ^^)
