Anyhow, anyone who follows my Twitter knows my life has gone to shit. Nervous breakdown, complaints against school being dismissed, false allegations made against me, unable to get a new job, and not paid since November last year. Outside of my beloved bf and my family, my solace comes from my friends, both online and offline.

Sorry to hear abour RL being a bitch... Somehow I have managed to entirely miss that. Something to do with the fact that your are half a planet away and timezones don't always overlap, I suppose? Here's hoping it gets better...

I have to say that yeah, I agree. There are sadly many forums where people go on about how those of us that don't want to watch MD are attacking them, and spoiling their enjoyment of the show, yada yada, how they are told to shut up every time they say anything positive about the show... while those same people promptly tell everybody else to STFU when anybody posts anything negative about RTD, MD or their beloved Gwen Cooper. It seems, sadly, to be spreading, and it's eating away at what used to be a really welcoming community ( ... )

Also, it's worth remembering some mods/admin forget that just because they are in charge of enforcing forum rules they are not above said rules... Though of course pointing that out to them would be considered rude and inappropriate

Funny about that, I've just chastised a junior Mod on the site over the same thing....no they aren't above the rules!

I too seem to have missed many of your tweets, probably right because of me living on the other side of the planet as well. I send you my best wishes, though, hoping for things to get better soon.

And yep, what to add to your rant? Maybe the only sane strategy is to dump the false friends, the hypocrites, and leave them alone blabbering in their own stew. They are not worth your time nor your trouble. Maybe the good thing out of situations like this is that you can find out who's a good person, a real friend and who just is not.

And folks there is two sides to every argument, and Clis here thinks she can defend her comments on the site, but no-one else can....only her....

And for the record, on Twitter, Clis said I've turned nasty and I'm a bitch....lovely....so mature and yeah... *shakes head* - who is turning it into a slanging match then?

I never called you anything other than unprofessional and nasty. I'm taking the high road, have chosen my words carefully, and expressed my disappointment with how the situation on the TWA is progressing. That is what has happened.

I find it highly offensive and unbelievably rude for someone to come onto a person's private LJ page to attack and abuse them. If this is an example of the level of maturity and professionalism on Torchwood forum, I'm very glad I stopped visiting their eons ago.

I don't appreciate someone going around behind my back then and feeling like the world is against them, and saying what they please either.

And I don't appreciate someone going onto Twitter and calling me nasty and a bitch!

Rusty killed off my interest in Torchwood pretty much after Children of Earth with his attitude toward the fans. I admit some of them are completely batshit insane and I wanted to shake a few of them at Supanova last year for the way that they make the rest of us look bad. Torchwood was brilliant as Torchwood and not americanised.

I mean really Rusty? You go from Jack being a child killer to now having a pedophile that the world is supposed to be in love with?

I'm just so glad that he killed off TW with COE. I would have watched TW London start up again though; with Johnson, Lois and Bridget as the core of a new "team" and two other males they bring in. That would have been awesome! We know Torchwood survives in the future, but it still is based out of England.

Thank god Moff is teasing us about Captain Jack turning up next season in DW. Maybe we find out where Jack came from in the first place as Rusty has said he will never answer those questions as it is all up to Moff cause he created him.

I kind of expected Jack to show up in "When a Good Man Goes to War", but then realised that the Doctor only went to companions who owed him a favour. Jack owes the Doctor nothing, thus the Doctor would not have approached him ( ... )
