Dad made it and has been admitted to Caesar-Sinai. I'm very tired and I have a pounding sinus headache, but I slept better last night than I have since learning that my dad's health was deteriorating.

I’m about to tell you why.

My father has a blood related cancer known as Multiple Myeloma. He has been battling it for almost four years now. The Department of Veteran’s Administration has been treating him because he got this disease as a result of Agent Orange, an herbicide they used during Vietnam.

Funny Conversation at work today;

Her: Please sign this petition for my niece. They aren't allowing Santa to say "Ho Ho Ho" at the mall because it is derogatory to women.

Me: *Blinking in disbelief followed by laughter* Sorry. I can't sign that. I don't celebrate Christmas.

It's been about an hour since that happened. I'm still chuckling.
