The Ron/Lavender thing extremely bugged me, too. It seemed so... out of place. I guess the whole way JK Rowling tried to insert/approach romance seemed a bit odd to me.

And yeah . . . It was really out of place, plus their whole relationship was for all of the wrong reasons. Stuff like that just bugs me, I guess.
