Sorry if that sounds pretentious (up too late, talking anime and fiction and LIFE with another friend *lol*) but I really do mean it. I'm thrilled to have met her at DreamspinnerPress and to share a couple of anthologies with her!

However - as any free time I had was spent attempting to get the man to make those cool penguin noises - well, I'm sure you can understand my dilemma.

I wish I'd had more time to join in myself, I just had to post and run. I had a friend staying - which was excellent! - but it meant that free time was suddenly truncated. I barely joined in the LNC day, too, but hey. *sigh*.

Hub: what's that then?
Me: Tights for men
Hub: What?! Why would you wear those?
Me: um...to keep warm.
Hub: What, like long johns. Let me see...*looks at screen* Eerrggghh, I wouldn't be caught dead in those.

One less potential customer for the mantyhose, I'm afraid.

Loved the penguin sex. we're they blushing because they were in the throes of passion, or because they were embarrassed doing it in fron of the spider, I wonder.

My thoughts are that it is because they are in the throes o' passion. At least, that's what I like to think. I also can't stop laughing at the spider's tongue that comes rolling out with lust - those penguins are hot stuff!

Lol, yeah those are great. Luckily no dead mousies for me since cat stays in the apartment. The one where Simon's trying to watch the game on tv and the cat gets in the way? So true...

*Bwahaha!* Wonder if penguins do make those sounds when they get it on? I hate spiders yet somehow I'm not sure I'd be cured this way... but I'm willing to give it a go! LoL

I'm sure there's some penguin researcher out there somewhere with tape after tape of penguin shagging noises. We just have to find them.

As for Simon's cat - the TV one is great too!
