Okay, okay. I survived the Christmas family reunion. And as a consequence I am too tired to meta now. But holy little Rassilon, this was some regeneration episode. Not my favourite, because rhythm problems -the crippling kind *coughs*- and plot a bit thin, but Steven Moffat is rather the poet AND the genius, isn't he? Strangely, Gold didn't struck me dumb this time... Problem with headphones?

I quite adored it. How Moffat tied everything together, so cleverly. How he made all the little references -to the Master, to Four, to K-9, to Dorium. The Cyber!Vendredi, oh dear. How Clara was left! The Doctor left Clara, but she came back, the gorgeous girl. *hugs Clara* The Papal Mainframe was hilarious as were a lot of other points -CONFESS, dramatic crackers!

Lots of little nitpicks, lots of thoughts, but tomorrow because what matters is this:

-The Doctor was supposed to barely remember who he had been before, after all those years fighting and living in Christmas. But he remembered Clara. And River. And Amy...

Things I did not understand:
-So, when did the Doctor discover the Silence creatures were priests? Because he obviously knew this in the episode and seemed to have known Tasha for a long time. So, at some point after the Ponds, he just met Tasha, got cosy with her and her lovely priests? Nah.
-What happened to Clara's dad? :/
- Why on Earth would the Time Lords let themselves be talked into saving the Doctor by a human woman? Considering they never really liked him, or humans? He saved them, yes. He also sent them to another Universe, without the population's or the president's consent. I'm pretty sure he could be trialed for this. My personal theories: a version of Clara held an important position at the Council, or it was not the Time Lords who saved him, but someone on the planet ( ... )

Yeah, there were things that weren't that clear... at least not yet.

- Why on Earth would the Time Lords let themselves be talked into saving the Doctor by a human woman?
Because Leela taught them to? ;) Romana said so? /wishful thinking I love your Time Lady Clara theory! *subscribes to it*

-Why was Tasha so very River-ish? I mean I love her and will probably wrote a little thing about how she met River who taught her how to fly a TARDIS, but still; psychopath, among religious people, flirty, can fly the TARDIS... I kept expecting her to turn into River.
Agreed. Also, ooh fic!

-The Doctor was really harsh with Clara. Really, really. The 50th left me reassured he had changed about treating Clara like a thing. But he abandoned her. Twice in the same episode. He kept breaking her heart.
Also agreed. I get that he thinks he's doing the right thing - both times - and "otherwise I'd bury you" is legit when it comes to Clara, even if it's the original - but it's Clara. She's saved him a thousand times and can make up her own mind. Yes ( ... )

Because Leela taught them to? ;) Romana said so? That would actually greatly pleases me to see them again. Anyway, it is certainly not the Time Lords only.

Agreed. Also, ooh fic! Actually thought out about that bit. River was certainly fashioned after Tasha by Kovarian, because Tasha was the head of her Church.

Yes, the burying happened to the Ponds after he'd warned Amy about it, but...
Still deciding for his companions. *sighs* When will he learn?

The reboot did it? That's an explanation. Logically it would have completely erase them, no? Or simply because it was the original?
