Things I did not understand: -So, when did the Doctor discover the Silence creatures were priests? Because he obviously knew this in the episode and seemed to have known Tasha for a long time. So, at some point after the Ponds, he just met Tasha, got cosy with her and her lovely priests? Nah. -What happened to Clara's dad? :/ - Why on Earth would the Time Lords let themselves be talked into saving the Doctor by a human woman? Considering they never really liked him, or humans? He saved them, yes. He also sent them to another Universe, without the population's or the president's consent. I'm pretty sure he could be trialed for this. My personal theories: a version of Clara held an important position at the Council, or it was not the Time Lords who saved him, but someone on the planet. -What about Trenzalore's state in TNOTD? All those graves, the TARDIS, the memories stream, River's tombstone? Did the Doctor put them there? Tasha? Did the Doctor rewrite Trenzalore here? Impossible, otherwise what happened did not happen. But the memories stream! It is a rather important plot point in TNOTD. Did he lose his memory with the regeneration and it just poured in Trenzalore? -No, but HOW was the TARDIS blown up? *scratches head* -Was Moffat afraid of being dismissed after this episode? Because the way he brought his monsters back felt like a retrospective to me. -Why was Tasha so very River-ish? I mean I love her and will probably wrote a little thing about how she met River who taught her how to fly a TARDIS, but still; psychopath, among religious people, flirty, can fly the TARDIS... I kept expecting her to turn into River. -The Doctor was really harsh with Clara. Really, really. The 50th left me reassured he had changed about treating Clara like a thing. But he abandoned her. Twice in the same episode. He kept breaking her heart. Thank grissom Clara is Clara and saved the day anyway. -The length and pace: obviously the episode would have been perfect for two hours. Situations and tension had no time to build, but it took a great time to actually kick in. -Why was the crack so harmless here when it sucked in Amy's family and Rory? -Still don't know how Clara and the Doctor got out of the Timestream.
Yeah, there were things that weren't that clear... at least not yet.
- Why on Earth would the Time Lords let themselves be talked into saving the Doctor by a human woman? Because Leela taught them to? ;) Romana said so? /wishful thinking I love your Time Lady Clara theory! *subscribes to it*

-The Doctor was really harsh with Clara. Really, really. The 50th left me reassured he had changed about treating Clara like a thing. But he abandoned her. Twice in the same episode. He kept breaking her heart. Also agreed. I get that he thinks he's doing the right thing - both times - and "otherwise I'd bury you" is legit when it comes to Clara, even if it's the original - but it's Clara. She's saved him a thousand times and can make up her own mind. Yes, the burying happened to the Ponds after he'd warned Amy about it, but...
-Why was the crack so harmless here when it sucked in Amy's family and Rory? The reboot did it?
Because Leela taught them to? ;) Romana said so? That would actually greatly pleases me to see them again. Anyway, it is certainly not the Time Lords only.
Agreed. Also, ooh fic! Actually thought out about that bit. River was certainly fashioned after Tasha by Kovarian, because Tasha was the head of her Church.
Yes, the burying happened to the Ponds after he'd warned Amy about it, but... Still deciding for his companions. *sighs* When will he learn?
The reboot did it? That's an explanation. Logically it would have completely erase them, no? Or simply because it was the original?

Yes, odd.

But he abandoned her. More Rose parallels?
Still don't know how Clara and the Doctor got out of the Timestream. Think we never will. XD
More Rose parallels? Clara has got quite a few Rose parallels now, yeah. And he keeps sending companions away to save them, and they always come back... He should have learnt (from Rose among others) that it never works. And doing it to Clara with her abandonment issues and "don't know where I am" stuff... :(
And doing it to Clara with her abandonment issues and "don't know where I am" stuff... :( Goodness, that's a good point. I hadn't thought of that. :( *hugs Clara*
About Trenzalore, apparently, it could be another future battle. Bah, still not a retcon then. It… will never be over? =P
About Tasha, River was certainly made to look like her "pope" by Kovarian. It's a cult after all. Deliciously twisted…
Nooo, don't say that! It's like the TARDIS exploding, I really hope he will answer it at some point. Yup… Still baggage left to explain for Twelve's era, then…

In which I wake up confused.
