It was a bit of a giggle, but I'm not sure I'd really fancy reading the whole book re-written.

I have always felt that Lewis R. Binford's seminal work An Archaeological Perspective was in dire need of spicing up. The only thing I can actually remember about it was that I found it a very effective cure for insomnia throughout my student days.
