I have been so sleepy over the last few days. It's like I can't get enough sleep. I've been sleeping all night and for huge chunks of the days while I've been off. I hear ya re: bottomless pit of sleep. I feel like I could sleep all day and night and be up for a couple hours here and there, and that'd be fine. My bet's on fatigue.

I used to volunteer at the Humane Society too...I was a kitten bottle feeder! It's so fulfilling, and really, those little guys are generally better patients than most humans. lol

They are definitely more fulfilling than real patients - I think that's why I enjoy it so much!

Tonight's my volunteer shift at the humane society - it's always busy there, so maybe that will help wake me up a bit.

Waking up is over-rated. I'm all for getting as much sleep as possible. I never miss anything interesting that would have happened awake anyway ;)

Seriously, try making yourself go for a walk at some point during the day. Even 5 minutes of plain walking without the hustle and bustle of hurrying somewhere can have a huge impact on your psyche...at least it works for me.

... actually, that's what we did when I got home tonight. Saw a deer, a rabbit, and three neighbourhood cats. I feel better, but still tired. John says I was thrashing in my sleep last night. I might ask my doctor again about getting on the waiting list for the sleep lab. A three to five year wait, though. Still, better to get any problems identified.
