Nina, of course, had these sort of acts coming naturally to her. She had many years of experience with disguising herself, be it through the theatre department at Greenhill or her own ventures into theatre here at Clairbourn. No one would be able to tell she was a girl at all, hardly even when she spoke.
She passed "Nina" in the halls and gave a sly grin, cocking her headback in signature Lelouch style. "Wisemail," she said and nodded, as if it were a casual greeting.
"And I shall be cruel to the Capelette maidens..." "Nina" leaned down over "Lelouch", "her" hand shooting out to steady "her"self against the lockers "...I shall cut off their heads...That is, take their maidenheads, take that as thou wilst. Oh if only that precious little Kula knew what kind of person you really are..."
Kula was walking down the hall as usual, smiling brightly as she made her way to her locker which, coincidentally, wasn't far from where Lelouch and Nina were talking to each other. She was rather blissfully unaware of their presence, at least until she was done swapping the books between her locker and her bookbag. Looking up, she noticed the exchange, and leaning just into view, waved at Lelouch, hoping to catch his attention.
Why he was talking to Nina was beyond her - they seemed to be mutually antagonistic... then again, Nina was antagonistic with most everyone. She hoped that Nina wasn't being too mean, and stepped a little closer to try and listen in.
"Lelouch" caught Kula in his eye and without any thinking at all something clicked...the wager...He put on a smile and gave a wave in return, breaking from "Nina" to go speak with the girl. He gave a slight bow and took her hand, pressing a kiss to it. Too perfect...
"It is wonderful to see you today, Kula!" he spoke, his voice well disguised from years of experience.
Kula was a little taken aback by the gesture, even if it was fitting for someone like Lelouch. She suppressed a blush and, instead, nodded slightly in acknowledgment. "Likewise, Lelouch. I just happened to be nearby, and thought I would say hello! We haven't gotten much chance to talk this past week."
She looked off toward Nina. "Is Miss Nina being troublesome?"
"Go for it, Lulu. Maybe getting laid for once in your furtive, miserable little life will keep you from getting a stiffy every time you challenge someone to chess or" "Nina" paused to give a dramatic shudder "Magic: the Gathering."
And so "Nina" sashayed off, though "she" took a route around the corridors that would enable her to observe the hilarity without being seen.
Deciding that standing around and watching his mirror-image do emberassing things was too much, Lulu-as-Nina pulled out the cel phone he'd swapped with Nina (pink, it was...ew.).
He ducked into an unused classroom, spent a minute copying down all the numbers there. Then he dialed Johnny's number...
Johnny had been making something for he and May to eat. Some soup, very simple to make but oh so tasty when the right seasonings were added. He was getting rather good at this cooking thing.
That's when the cellphone rang. He walked to the small stand it rested on, and picked it up. As he walked back into their tiny kitchen area he answered it.
"Nina? Is that you?... Uh, no I'm not... I've been taking care of May. Are you okay?" Johnny was a little concerned. Nina never took the time to call him from school before.
Well, shit. That didn't work. Now what? "Nina" doubled back on the corridor just in time to hear himself promising to take Kula to theatre. But what else had he said to her? The real Lelouch couldn't know and that irritated him.
When she'd determined he was leaving, "Nina" stalked down the hallways looking for...well, whose opinion did Nina care about anyway? Most of the school hated her and she was estranged from her family.
...Jeevas. Or failing that, one of her many enemies, to get all weepy and vulnerable in front of. Crocodile tears were not beyond Lelouch..."Nina" stalked down the hallways.
