For the first time yesterday, cynodd and I actually planned well enough in advance that we, along with crabbydragon, were able to watch 2-1/2 episodes of Doctor Who during Her Royal Tininess's nap! :-D They were, from series 2 (still cjmr's and d_84's DVDs): "Tooth and Claw", "School Reunion", and "The Girl in the Fireplace". I have yet to get into the whole Doctor Who series. Everyone I hear from says it is really good. :)

I've been pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoy it! Since you're so into comic books, I can't imagine that you wouldn't really like it, too. :)

If you're interested, the new episodes (season 4) are on the Sci-Fi Channel on Fridays at 9pm (Eastern Time). Repeat episodes (season 2) are currently on BBC America on Saturdays at 6pm & 7pm and again on Sundays at 1pm & 2pm.

Next time I'll try to find something quieter to fidget with. :) As for today, I think I'm going to share the nap time. I'm wiped out from the psychic energy it took to get through the annual meeting.

The girl in the fireplace is definitely one of my very favourite episodes. I think it helps that there is so much chemistry between David Tennant and the actress whose name escapes me, who played the girl in question. They are together in real life and it really shows through on screen.

I love Doctor Who (though can take or leave Torchwood) and am sulking a little this weekend because they didn't show a new episode because the Eurovision Song Contest was on instead.

I like the spoof of the Doctor doing Hamlet - very amusing.
