the weekend

This past weekend was a busy one! Friday after work, Lisa lkf03 and I went to Sabrina's brinaann apt for a game night. We were the first ones there, but it was not long before Anne and a few co-workers of Sabrina's came over. We snacked on veggies, chips and later ordered pizza. We didn't actually play any games, but ended up yapping for a few hours. Neither

bats... ew creepy. i think one time we stopped at a rest stop and their was bats making bat noises and if you clap your hands really loud, they freak out and start flapping their wings at once haha

When Mel is here next month we'll be heading to S.A. for the Alamo and the Riverwalk. I was very lucky during a visit to the Alamo that I got to hear the story of the settling of Texas through the battle at the Alamo and to the end of that war. It was so moving I had tears streaming down my face by the end!

I still cant get over that you've never been to the Riverwalk! It's like 10 ft from the Alamo..lol. At least by then, it wont be TOO hut :o)

i know! and i lived in south austin, too. i think i drove over the bridge and saw them ONCE as they were exiting.
