The t-shirt quilt project sounds awesome! And yeah, I think that shift-type flannel would be entirely appropriate (and cozy) for the backing.

Easier than dealing with batting and backing, that's for sure! And I like the idea of a flannel or lighter weight fleece backing, so it would be lovely and cozy on the side that's next to the body and nifty looking on the outside. I'm definitely a cuddle up with blankets in the living room type of person and so are a bunch of friends who come over to watch TV or movies and such.

I love my T shirt quilt. I hate that it's been packed away since I got it! But it was nice to take all those Tshirts from Beloit and places I've worked that I love but won't wear and have them made into something nice.
