1. I got a tumblr. It's over here. It'll be primarily tarot stuff and craft stuff, with random other stuff. Tumblr seems to be easier for pictures than LJ. LJ will be more personal. Facebook just random bits and keeping up with people. I'm on DeviantArt, too, but that's mostly to lurk and look at other people's art ( Read more... )

Reflective tarp? Is it.. shiny? Let me know how you like it! We're headed to burning man this year. A sun shield is a MUST and reflective might be that much better.

Our blackberries here are just flowering - it seems the whole Seattle grow season is behind a month from MI. I assume it's the latitude. They're EVERYWHERE here. Every highway gets lines with them if they don't cut 'em back constantly. Apparently they're an 'invasive weed' here. Tasty though =)

It's silver and shiny! Karinny & Abhi have one, Joel has one, I think Dave & Lisa do, too. It keeps the tent noticeably cooler. I don't know how well it'll hold up under the kind of sun you'll get at Burning Man, though!

YAY for tasty invasive weeds! When I was a kid, my uncle had a junk yard and they grew EVERYWHERE there, too. The back of the yard didn't have a fence because it backed up to some woods - so you had to be careful during blackberry season - sometimes you found deer (and once in a blue moon, a bear) had wandered in searching for berries.

Also, yay for tumblr. I just signed up for one this week, too.

Using the same name on tumblr, or what?

Oh, I grew up in the country and they were all over! I know they're easy to find all sorts of places around here. It's just neat to have them in our teeny little backyard!
