I have to agree that Dead Alive is an awesome bad movie. Repo Man is also one of my favorites. I mean, how can you go wrong? White suburban punks? Check. Aliens that "look like sausage?" Check. Cool soundtrack? Check!

Congrats on 13 years.

Dead Alive is one of the finer pre-LoTR PJ films. If you really want to sample his early, very bad work, you have to go with either Bad Taste (aliens enslaving Earth to breed humans for fast-food) or the first movie of his that I traumatized the group with back in Athens: Meet the Feebles. (There's not enough horrible things I can say to rightfully describe the atrocity that is coke-dealing, heroin junkie, panty sniffing porn star Muppets.)

Peter Jackson made Meet the Feebles?!?! Dear lord....

I remember that night vividly, it was the first ever Bad Movie Night (that I knew of) where a film was just so bad it couldn't be finished. Reefer Madness, Desperate Living, Meet the Feebles. Many started, 4 or 5 of us survived (including me).

Yeah, it's about a decade later and I'm still apologising for that...
