pics of the iris please? and would you consider an Heirloom Trade Off in the fall maybe??
I have some iris here that came from my Grandfather - he cultivated them himself about a bazillion years ago LOL (ok in the late 40's in Cleaveland Oh) they're pure white though some of them have a yellow line down the beard's tongue. They really are beautiful =)
When my grandparents moved from OH to NJ he brought some with him...then divided them and took some to south NJ when they moved to Jamesburg. My mom got some of the rhyzomes from him when she moved into the house across the highway from me. When I moved into my own house in Hillsborough I got a bunch too...and when I got divorced I took a couple with me for my home now. LOVE them!! I'll post pics as soon as I remember to take them. Like I said maybe trade ya a root or two?? =)
