Sometimes they have to pull teeth. Since cats don't really chew their food, it doesn't seem to bother most of them if it comes to that.

They already pulled five teeth earlier this year. That healed and then the problem came back and we went over to feeding her soft food all the time, and it took longer this time, but the problem came back again. Which is why the vet's looking at ways to keep the infections from coming back. He hasn't said anything about pulling more teeth. I know some cats with this problem wind up getting all or most of their teeth pulled and are fine afterward. We'll just keep trying things until something works. Poor kitty!
