FWIW, when I did this, the goldbricker ambush would try to attack the glowie...but I didn't run past them, I fought as I went.

Well I waited and waited and waited and still had to go look for them. When I did, I found them in the same place as I have when I've cleared the map.

But the GM I summoned told me to click on it to spawn the mobs - and it worked. That time. :)

Maybe the GM made that happen? *shrug* Like I said, clicking it and then leaving for an extended period of time did not cause them to show up. When I hovered my pointer over the item, it didn't change into the blue hand either.
