Worst. Mission. Ever. Redux.
I had the same mission (Save Dr. Percey's Work) with an alt and decided to undergo the masochism of doing it again for scientific purposes. Here are my results:
1) The glowie is not clickable. It is selectable and that's it.
2) Clicking the glowie leads to nothing. I went downstairs and made half a salad after clicking it. When I came back up, I was not dead, there were no Goldbrickers, and I had not failed the mission.
3) You do not have to defeat all the Goldbrickers to spawn the ambush. I purposely ran past them all in order to see if it worked or not.
4) I found my first ambush three elevators down. After defeating them and going back up to the glowie, I went and made more of the salad. When I came back up, I was not dead, there were no Goldbrickers, and I had not failed the mission.
5) I went down one floor and was ambushed just outside the first elevator I went down.
6) After running back down two more floors to where I found the first ambush, I found the third one.
7) When I defeated it, the mission completed.
The game must have been pissed that I figured out its nonsense. While loading out of the mission, I had some sort of .dll failure.
