So, I finally decided that I'd break down and buy the expansion packs that other people have been enjoying (GvsE pack, the wedding pack, the cyborg pack, and the new mac client upgrade). I run over and buy the GvsE pack without issues, and the wedding pack. I go to buy the cyborg pack and get an error message saying that I have to wait a "given ( Read more... )

Oh, that's right. I keep seeing Lighthouse's stuff on the front of what seem to be recent posts, and think that he's still there.

Well, the 30day limit is located under the "Billing Summary" section of your PlayNC Account screens, and yeah, the only thing I could find was the help page here that refers to itself @_@. Just great...

My gut says 24 hours, but it's been wrong before ;)

Yeah, I saw that last night. I also rated the answer as being useless.

And my hunch is 24 hours too. I was just irritated and not being able to get the pretty.

LOL I think I can top that

I was running Darrin Wade's arc as COV probably as a level too high but with my TA/Merc (Hey stop laughing at the back!) I worked through the arc until Avenge Starr mission and both the Rikti and Kill Kadabra were fighting each other. Shame Kill F'ing healed his rikti opponent, but it still said I had to rescue 1 captive.

So I had a look around and could find it, so I called support

1. Do you need assistance
2. Yes I need to know where the last hostage is
3. GM: There are still minions on this level
4. GM: Invite me to your team
5. FAIL: Me: Uh I am a villain, you are a hero, game wont let me

minutes pass

6. Uh...K, so what now
7. I can bring them to you, are you ready
8. Buff, Henchmen power...YES READY AWESOME THANKYOU!
9. TP Kill Kadabra AND Rikti Boss to my location
10. Gang rape ensues
11. GM: Thank you are you happy with our support response?? /GM Quit
12. Bloodied hand raises. Arrrgh My ASS!

I ran that arc with my 45 energy/rad corruptor. Kill Kadabra is hard enough when you're ready for him!

Yes, there is a limit on only one extra item purchased per account in a 24-hour period. I believe it's an anti-fraud measure. Not sure how much sense it makes, but I assume they must get a high percentages of fraudulent transactions for them to want to turn down people trying to give them money.

Yeah, it's a credit card fraud thing. I remember reading about it on the official forums a while back, but damned if I can find the link now.

heh. I don't think the first teir drones are able to do *anything* but forward 'stuff up the chain. Might be all they're there for, as glorified mail sorters or something. 'cause I got the same response when I thought I'd lost an enhancement table through the SG base wall [which I ended up solving on my own anyway] and did a petition for help.
