I just got two drops in the last hour that both required it, not to mention the set I'm trying to put together has at least one in it as well.

The nice thing is that I said to my SG "Hey lets run some COT missions for magic drops" First mission out drops one. I had a few saved in my vault I have gotten over time so I haven't had to bid on the market. That being said one of my toons just got some 2.5m recipe for 2500 at WW. I was very happy yesterday.

Deific Weapon is needed in 28 set recipes, none of them below level 25 or above level 40. By my count, there are a total of 626 different set recipes in the game.

I'm sorry, let me run my original post through the filter of exaggeration so that it becomes more clear:

"Wow, I am going through a run of drops where I need Deific Weapon on many of them. This makes me frustrated because of the high cost of crafting them and the low price they are selling for."

Is that better? I'm sorry if my post led you to believe that I thought that Deific Weapon was literally in every freaking recipe.

You know... I was just thinking...

Wouldn't it be good if the recipes required a specific arcane OR a tech salvage, and they could be swapped out?

So, if Deific Weapon is too expensive, the recipe would also work with, say, a Mathematical Proof, for example. And it would be a bit more thematically appropriate for some characters.

I'm not really sure. Frankly, tech salvage has always been much more available, regardless of rarity. It's much easier to get Synthetic Intelligence Units and Chronal Skips over Hamidon Goos and Prophacies.

(Also, nitpick - swapping Deific Weapons for Math Proofs wouldn't happen. I got SEVEN Math Proofs this morning just from running missions in Grandville for about 2 hours. :) )

Yeah Deific Weapons are rare and Math proofs are common - definietly not a fair swap.
