I dropped CoX for a while now, sporadically playing every now and then with my husband and leveling up low toons... Now we're interested in our mains again (Me being a 40 emp/rad def and him a 41 fire/fire blaster), and feel completely lost ( Read more... )

For heroes, go visit Montague Castanella, in the university in STeel Canyon. He'll get you started no the arc that takes you to Cimerora. Doign the Cimerora TF gets you the Roman garb. It is challenging but VERY fun.

Hail Huntress!

I12 is live on the servers. There was a patch on Tuesday that was rolled back, but that was a minor build, not a full issue.

Midnight squad and Chimerora are in this issue. To get in, you have to run the midnighter squad mission. See the contact in the Steel Canyon university. There's a little arc you need to run to get into the midnighters club. once in there, you can use a portal to get to Chimerora.

CLEARING CONFUSION:

I could not, for the life of me, figure out how to get into Cimerora once I entered the funky back corridors of the Midnighter Club. It's actually the glowy/flamey crystal that is completely unlabeled and unadorned and not very obvious if you're looking for something NORMAL (typically a sign, zone guard, etc) to click on or an arch/door to go through. I missed it in my first few wandering passes around the back. :x

Thank you! I was there but I thought it was just, you know, a clubhouse. A place where you could meet with villains without fighting, and a shortcut to a couple other zones. That kind of thing. I had no idea there was anything useful there. I shall have to check again!

The click sstuff is a 'scavenger hunt' to get the history badge, 'Midnighter Archivist.' It's actually quite fun but can be frustrating at times. And easier if you try to figure out the clues rather than clicking on things at random.

The skull on the desk when you first enter the club.
