My global name has been changed from @Sol-Prime to @LuneNoire, to match my LJ account.

Is anyone planning to join a Hami Raid on Virtue this week? It would be my first ever, and I've read enough about the strategy for me to want a guide for ushering my level 45 Blaster through it. :)

Basically, all you do for the most part is set the main assist on follow, join a team with group fly, and set a couple of attacks to auto (no cone or AoE though, single shot only) and basically get pulled around. You target through the MA. On the holding phase, if you have no holds, just get your one shot in, and go stand back on the rock area and wait until he has been held to death. Thats basically it.

Be prepared for alot of lag in some cases. Also make a costume with NO cape or aura, or people will bitch you out for it.

Would attacks that Disorient count as a hold in that case, or are we only talking about Hold holds?

I believe its just hold holds.

I haven't attended the last few Hamidon Raids, so if there's been a strategy change I haven't heard about it (and it hasn't been posted on the forums or mentioned on the VirtueUnited channel, making such a change very unlikely), but here's the strategy that's been in effect since I7 ( ... )

What level do you have to be to be on those raids?

I think it's 45 to get into the Hive. I could be wrong, though.

(Sad that I have a 46 and a 50 and still never remember this.)
