The griefing method was pretty much the time-tested training of the Giant Monsters in the Hive to the group clearing them out to spawn Hami. Basically, we were trying to take down one Monster, when we were suddenly met with three more. Several wipes were had.

On the bright side, I did go from no Essence of the Earth inspirations at all to this:

Guardian's going to attempt a Hami Raid tonight at 9EST. There's drama so no telling if we'll be able to gather enough people, but we're hopeful. Coming early would be helpful, as we'd like to get EoE farming and most of the instruction out of the way so we can start at 9.
