Still needs some work, but you're doing a lot better than we we started. [The pride has not left her voice, so she's not even going to try and figure that blush out.]

Don't get too fancy, though. You go through the legs like that on a real opponent and you're likely to get kicked, or pinned.

[He can't help but be amused, though. He recognizes Lightning's influence, and after seeing her backflip out of danger to shoot a foe midturn, who wouldn't think that was a little cool?]

Just remember the foundation of any fight is basic punches and kicks. Throws and holds if you go that way, too.

I learned that the hard way. I tried it earlier and he kicked me. But there was sufficient enough space for me to try that that time.

I know. I'm just working on my dodging and countering for now. I'll work on the actual fighting again soon.

I'm not good enough to fight other people. I'm just learning how to react in battle. Eventually I'll have two other people to spar against. It's just for now.

You should spar with as many people as you can. Constantly challenging yourself is the best way to learn.
