Okay, so I still don't have a job (and nooo, I haven't really been looking, so shut up). Anyway, the more I think about it, the more I want to do something fashion-oriented. I have a design degree, but I would consider my design knowledge pretty much confined to graphic. Anyway, as everyone knows, I want to move to California and I can't just head ( Read more... )

You would not need another four years. You already have your pre-requisites out of the way, you would go straight into fashion design classes.
Why would you be nervous with Houston or Beverly Hills socialites? They're just people. Maybe not normal people, but people.

What are you talking about with that first part? Getting a second bachelor's degree? A lot of my Texas credits probably wouldn't transfer to California, considering I had A LOT of hours down before I even got to college. That was one of the (smaller) reasons I stayed in TX for school. Like Dual-credit HS courses I'm pretty sure only transfer in state.... Also, I don't really want to be in school with a bunch of younger undergrads-- that just creeps me out.

And the sociallites can be pretty snotty.

1. If you have your degree most schools will admit you on a grad student basis and allow you to take a number of undergraduate courses. You should contact the schools you are interested in though and explain your situation.
2. Socialites can be snotty, but you have the priviledge of being snotty right back to them. As long as you are not at work. Then anyone can be snotty to you. Personally, I do not take shit from anyone.
