Remember the vapid marketing buzzwords of yesteryear?

The words that lazy ad men would tack onto mediocre products... apparently to spice them up or something?

Hehe. I had a computer back in '94 with a turbo. it was great. It was like a 286, but if you pushed the "Turbo" button, it would run as a 386. WTF?! All I know is that it made my games run really fast, so you had to answer the Jeopardy questions really quickly :)

Ah, and "2000" cracks me up too. Lever2000--the soap for the new era. er somethin. They tack these on some really weird products. I think the I-C-U-P may take the cake though.

I'm so sick of eToys and iDogs, I could spit!

Meet Elmo T.M.X., the coolest, most interactive Tickle Me Elmo doll yet. His mission: to keep kids laughing with hilarious antics and realistic movements never before seen in a doll. Just touch his sensitive tickle spots and watch him break into peals of laughter, rolling on the floor, slapping the ground and more. The delighted smiles he puts on your children's faces prove that laughter really is contagious.
Elmo T.M.X. features three interactive tickle spots, on his chin, tummy and toe
Tickle him once, and he will laugh and slap his leg, fall into a sitting position and rock himself back to standing while laughing
Tickle him twice and he'll repeat the pattern, then fall onto his back, kicking his feet while laughing even harder
Tickle him a third time, and he'll laugh, sit, stand, roll over onto his tummy and slap the floor in gales of giggles
Six "AA" batteries included
