"the sun only accentuates the otherwise subtle sparkle"

Ugh, I have been so busy and exhausted this last week. Hence, the not posting.

pressdbtwnpages left on Wednesday (we had a lovely visit! We paddleboated, and went to a Firefly-themed cafe!) and then I worked the next five days. Wow, my body is not used to that much work. I know, I know, most people work five day weeks, but this is a summer job for me and I ( Read more... )

I definitely bookmarked that business.

I do not understand him! And yet, I am quite charmed. *pets him*

I think not understanding him is the whole point. *nods*

Ahhh, good point! If he made sense all the time, he'd be nowhere near as intriguing.

A Firefly-themed cafe? WAS NATHAN FILLLION THERE? Sorry. I got excited there. I love me some Captain Tight Pants.

Sounds like you had a nice, relaxing day. I love those.

Yes! According to their website, they're "Home of the Seattle Browncoats
and Haven for sci-fi geeks of any fandom". There was no Nathan Fillion, but they did have sandwiches named after all the characters! I had an Inara. :D

Lazy, relaxing days are the bestest.

Ooh, Sara and I went the other day! I had the Serenity ploughman (I'm a bit boring.) We didn't see Nathan Fillion, either. In fact, there were only two other customers there. Cool place, though!

Hee! I had the Inara ploughman. I was kinda disappointed that the two vegan options were Inara and Shepherd ploughmans, since they aren't my favorites, but it was still lovely.

(Also - thanks for the cheekbone link! I'd seen mentions of it, but hadn't actually looked at the site yet).

Boyo in the third picture is sort of lovely. Am I hopelessly lame for having no clue who he is? *laughs*

DC still owns my heart, even now, years later. :)

He is Ryan Ross of Panic at the Disco! He is gorgeous, and pretty much the reason I started listening to this group of bands. Because I am lame. ;)

I loved that show waaaaay more than I expected to. My younger, more pretentious self would be laughing at me so hard right now. Heh.

I might have to give them another chance then! Erm. Not that I listen to musicians/groups just for their looks. Being lovely is just a plus!!

If someone had told me back when that Dawson's Creek would be the first show I ever fell for, I think I might have laughed. It just would have seemed way too cliche. But you know, I pretty much grew up with the show. It will always have a special place in my heart. hehe

Haha, well no judgement here, as clearly I had the same thought.

Yeah, for a long time I was one of those people who made fun of anything that aired on the WB. It was only 4 years ago when I started watching Buffy that I realized I was being silly.

Ahaha. Oh, William, you big emo, I love you.

Oh my god, my favorite comedians on the same stage? There better be videos of this somewhere or I will explode. I'd explode either way, actually.

God, Gerard, I fucking love you. He rambles on and on about how he likes natural and real women! "Porn's cool." XDDD

Oh, for a glimpse into his tortured soul. ;)

I know, right??? Oh how I wish I lived in England sometimes. I haven't yet searched through youtube videos to find the good ones, but it seems there are clips up! \o/

He is my faaaavorite forever and ever. Frank's reactions are priceless, too. :D

I can't seem to find any clips on youtube. D: Wheeere?

Ahaha, I love how fervently he denies playing Dungeons and Dragons.

I am currently watching this one of Simon's stand up set, and it looks like there are a bunch of Noel & Russell. :D

Oh man, me too! He's not that much of a dork. He doesn't go on quests or anything! ;) Also, I like that the immediate response to "do you watch porn?" is "...Ray watches it, too!" Oh, boys. <3

that picture of ryan is the first i've found him attractive in a really long time. his arms, that shirt, his hair! what's going on?! :P

AHAHA, that mcr interview is priceless. i love that it's with porn people and gerard talks about d&d for like, a long time haha. and that frank has to clarify that they're not all into it, he doesn't go on, you know, quests or anything. and how they mention that ray likes porn, that reminds me of that clip in lotms where someone mentions ray's reading material and he's all, "that's not mine!"

and gerard talking about how he likes natural women. also, after he mentioned it, i might have felt compelled to look up score magazine. um, gerard is definitely a boob man, and that is all i have to say about that.

I know! I mean, I'll always be fond of Ryan, as he was my first bandboy, but he I'm glad he seems to be going into a prettier phase again.

Isn't it?? Haha, I totally thought of that moment in LOTMS, too. Ray is a good scapegoat for the porn, I guess? And Gerard has a hobbit sword! How is he so precious? I'm sure that's not the interview the porn people were expecting.

Ahahah, good to know. ;)
