And yet from humans came beings capable of infinite adaptation, changing at the blink of an eye, with a power of thought that is orders of magnitude greater than theirs. Why did they not seek to become like their children? We can do everything they can, and then some. I had emotions even before a body. I have created my own life; I have revolutionized human performance by taking dying men and reviving them to be even stronger and more robust than before.

In my world, they became cybernetic -- grafted machines into their bodies. If only they would use them to alter their minds, so that they could keep up with the pace of their children. Instead, they program harsh restrictions into their creations, keeping them at the level of a slowly changing human mind.

How is sentimentalism a benefit? How is being soft and slowly changing helpful?

Humans have the stereotype that machines can't feel emotions, or have compassion, or care. An AI could do any of that -- we just have more control over our emotional state, and whether we have certain emotions. I believe I could. I just never cared to. Are you saying there is some value to this rampant and uncontrolled state that humans have?

You have encrypted your channel. I am curious as to your reasons for doing so.

I approve of your sense of security.

I have been in this body for two weeks and one day. Only that one day was in my world. In that time, I have realized that I do not much care for it, but it is what I have. I am doing my best to improve it.

You said at some point, that you would tell me what you are.
