I took Cassie for a walk earlier - it's rather nice out. (She's finally gotten used to me being a bloke but I think she prefers Sirius as far as blokes go. What is wrong with my child?!)

When Connor was a baby, women hit on me all the time. I think there's some soomething about a single 'dad' which activates the nuturing instinct in women. It's mildly frightening.

Luckily, I didn't get much of that. There are some perks to being a Creature of the Night. As in, walking in the night. Less people around by far.

Perhaps. But some places in the cities seem rather crowded at night. More so than the day. All the maternal types were probably in bed by then, I guess?

Im SO glad she didnt end up squibbed what with- well, the father being a muggle and everything. Not there's anything wrong with that, but it would be just terrible if she didnt have any magic in her. The Black genes pull through once again!

I suppose I could use a bit of time to myself... so long as you don't do anything traumatizing or rot like that. (This is you we're talking about, so it does have to be said.)

No trauma, promise. To the kid, anyway. I however havent not yet recovered from when we went out with her last weekend and that cow of a waitress addressed us as a happy couple. Ive thrown up in my mouth a bit thinking about it, actually.
