It's really hard to get motivated to go to work when you get up at 6:30 and it's already 78 degrees out.

However, when your boss tells you that you can have the afternoon off (and still get paid) because it's that hot, things are pretty awesome.

In other news, I saw a giant amazon stinging hornet type thing take down a cicada mid-flight, sting it to death, and drag it away across the lawn today. It was an experience.

Woah-ho! Major Firefly marathon on Sci-fi, dudes. Of course, it's on Objects in Space now, so it's almost over. But still.

Of course, everybody hates going to the doctor, for the obvious reason that nobody likes to be poked and prodded in awkward places and asked embarrassing personal questions.
