There's no real time period - at one point there were Romans fighting Drow, just to give you an idea. Unfortunately, there aren't any rules in place for any vehicles smaller than a boat, so it doesn't make the question very different.

And the guy wants to engage in things like pit-fights (roped off one-on-one combats). So if you called it a chariot, that would turn into one of those Coliseum fights that were really executions in wet tissue-paper disguises.

I haven't heard about anything as far as fighters with wheelchairs go.

I know there is a Knight in the Kingdom that covers Texas ans the Oklahoma Panhandle that is a single leg, above the knee amputee that can kick major ass.

You might want to try joining sca and ask the question there too. YOu'll get a wider audience and people who do actually fight and know the rules better. You might also want to say where geographically this individual is located as fighting rules do vary from kingdom to kingdom

Thanks - I just went through the responses to the post about Youth Boffer, and that helped me bring up at least one point, but I'll post the main question as well.

Oh - and actually I'm more looking to the SCA for guidance, since they've been around for a lot longer (by about 20 years). Getting a broad swath of fighting rules would actually be handy.
