I have been having issues with my left lung for 8 weeks now. They drained 1.5 liters a few weeks ago, but the fluid came back pretty quickly. It is great that it seems localized. They may not even have to do chemo, depending on how the dr feels about the scans. And these days chemo is quite different than even 5 years ago. I have been impressed by the advances, even as I wince at the illness it causes folks. Good luck, I'll keep you in my thoughts for a speedy treatment

Good luck, man ...

I just had my prostate cancer come back (I'd had radiation therapy that we'd thought got rid of it back in 2015), and am facing some less-than-pleasant options at this point.

Dammit. I am sick and tired of my friends getting this news. In the past four years my Dad, Step-dad, Step-mom, and wife have all been diagnosed. I can't count how many friends. F^&k cancer!

I'm sorry you are having to go through this dude. Was the surgery a thoracotomy? Are they going to do targeted radiation on the spots they found? Honestly it depends on what kind of chemo they are doing. All chemo sucks. But some is better than others. Good luck and keep us informed please.
