Finn avoids Will’s eyes, and bites his lip. Then he gazes at Will, looking vulnerable, which makes Will remember he has to pull back. But before he can, Finn lifts his head, and presses his lips to Will’s ( Read more... )

Finn had been acting weird all day, and Will took notice of that. They were his students, and he knew when they were having off days. It was part of his job as a teacher, or rather. His personal job as a teacher. There were lots of teachers who didn't know or didn't care and while Will was pretty naive at times, he wasn't stupid and Finn was obvious.

The young man who was usually the first to talk to him on any given day was avoiding him as though he had leprosy so when the bell rang to end class Will took a point of trying to single out Finn.

"Will! Hang back for a second okay?"

Finn stopped, hearing Mr. Schuester's voice. Eyes wide, his throat went dry and he sighed. Finally, he put on a smile and turned around to face his teacher.

"Of course, Mr. Schue," he said, trying not to make any real eye contact. "What's up?"

"Come over here and sit for a second Finn." He said motioning to a seat as he moved to gather up everything he needed he had a bad habit of spreading out all over the place. Once he was finished he shoved everything in his bag and took a seat beside Finn.

"What's on your mind?" He asked simply, leaving the question up to Finn to take it however he would.

Finn sat in one of the empty black plastic chairs. He set his bag down and put his hands in his lap. He wanted this to be over with. He wanted to lie about why he was acting the way he was acting. But he didn't know if he could.

"Math test?" he asked, checking if that was the answer Mr. Schue was looking for.
