Icon mostly unrelated - it's just the only mage icon I hvae >.> I'll introduce myself since I'm new here. I'm 22, from Utah, and am sorely addicted to the mage origin in DA:O. Oh, how beautifully sad. It's so good to see some Niall fic and the whole thing has a quiet sort ache to it (in the best sort of way!).

Thanks - that sad, but not awful, mood is what I was hoping for :) This is a character that jumped into my head before I'd even -created- her, and as I started the play through Niall really caught my eyes as a potentially interesting, if ultimately tragic, character.

I was sent this once word got out that I was on the hunt for good Niallfic. It's very sweet, and you have constructed such a wonderfully sad mood by contrasting between past and present.

Thanks so much for posting. Niall doesn't get nearly enough love.
