I've gotten a pretty interesting comment in one of my reviews, and it's something that had also come up when I had taken that writer's workshop last year.  What is it?  That I use big, impressive words.

I'm still reading Solitude. It is good so far. I don't think you use big words. Then again, it's hard to say what big words are since the definition varies by individual. I don't think anything you do is negatively affecting your stories.

hi! thanks for the reply. i'm glad that you're enjoying solitude, but i just want to caution you before you read any futher. solitude is very er... sexual, i guess. the first 3 chappies are safe, but after that...

i kinda figured that you weren't into that stuff, so i'm letting you know now before you get an unwelcome surprise. ^^;

I did manage to read up to the latest chapter. I'm not into sexual stuff, so I usually skim through those parts and just get the general idea for the plot.

Thanks! I'm still waiting for the bad news to arrive in the mail. The NCCAOM exams are on computer while the CA board exams are scantron (and we have to take them in Sacramento).

Supposedly, I'm on a hiatus Cin and I've read your chapter in Solitude [haven't reviewed it yet since... school & all. Dying basically.]. Anyway, I found the words that you mentioned are big words. :X I don't know what the reviewer was talking about, but it just depends on the individual's standards

hey, thanks for dropping by to give me your input. =) so you also think i use big words. wow. here, i never thought about it. i mean, i don't mean to write stories to purposely make it sound 'intellectual' (haha, with all the slang i put in my fics, and all my informalness, i can't see it appearing that way at all) but thanks for the nice comments. ^o^

i get what you meant about paying attention to the reviews of the writers i admire. thing is, i don't get reviews from those ppl. i got one once, which made me so happy, i blogged about it, but that's about it. =P

best wishes on your studies! don't feel so bad if you need to take a break every now and then. your brain can only handle so much at a time, yanno?

I read Solitude, chapter 8 a few days ago but haven't reviewed it yet. I thought it was a good continuation and I like how well you describe each situations but I thought it was a tad bit ooc.

To answer your questions; yes, you do use 'big' words at times but I think your use of 'big' words are suitable to the story. No, they don't negatively affect your stories. I think your stories are more intelligent and mature, that
s why I like them. ^_^ So, keep on writing! The only word from the list that I didn't understand was petulance..-_-; ..
