Mushrooms are nothing but frog toilets (and shouldn't even be eaten on pizza--nasty chewy fungus)

Yes! It is.

I can follow a possible line of reasoning, too. Some toads and frogs are poisonous; I knew this as a kid (and it was drilled into my head to wash my hands after picking up a toad.) Frogs and toads are often pictured sitting on mushrooms--the name "toadstools" exists for a reason. :D So by extension, if frogs sit on mushrooms, they get their poison on the mushroom. However, frogs don't jump on pizzas so those mushrooms are safe.

See? it makes total sense!
