The heat is suffocating. I'm trying not to break down and get air conditioning, but I'm not sure if I'm strong enough. I haven't slept well this past week because it's been too hot. I have to stop going out after work because going to bed at midnight and having to wake up at 3:30 every morning is making me sooooooooooo sleepy during the day. Gosh, I'm hoping for internet access soon! Things are going very well for me in New York. I arrived on April 5 and I got a job and an apartment within 4 days. It's amazing here. Lulu ended up being in the hospital till Monday so the bill totaled near $2000 dollars. The vet asked me to sit down before he gave me the bill. I wish I could get Lulu a job to help pay off her debt.

I spent so much time flat ironing my hair this morning only to come home to want it to be curly again. For some reason everytime I wear my hair straight I have this intense desire either to cut it really, really short or to wear it up in a ponytail.

Igby goes Down is on television and I really like Claire Danes' hair in this movie.
