I just got back from eating the best pumpkin muffin at Starbucks tonight and having an aromatherapy facial. I am having one exciting Saturday night. *sigh* It's my weekend to work and I'm unabashedly boring. I like being boring, but I suppose when it comes to documenting about your life boring is bad.
I've come to the conclusion that I am so in need of new hair. I want new hair. I'm hair obsessed. I'm sitting next to my suitcase full of hair styling products realizing I have problems.
I always told myself if I ever moved here I would want to get my hair cut at either of the following places.
Bumble and Bumble
or
Quidad.
I always would read about Quidad in all my fashion magazines back home and think wow I wish they had that salon here where I live. They have special methods for cutting curly hair. Girls always gets pictured in magazines coming out of the salon with a little caption next to their face that says "I love my new hair." I want to be just like them and say "I love my new hair too."
As for Bumble and Bumble the place just looked pretty in the photographs and I love their products. Basically, I'm all about ambiance.
The salons here are so pretty!
I've found that the trains on the weekends suck. I thought hmm perhaps I'll leave my house early this morning and take it easy. No rushing. Well, I must have been re-directed a bazillion times. Actually maybe it was 3. I took three trains and 1 bus to get to work this morning totally stressed out about being late after I left my house so early. Normally I take 2 trains. I'm still not believing I actually made it to work on time.
I need a new bag for the gym. I carry around too many bags. If I had a car I'd just put them in my car and it wouldn't be a big deal. I was leaving my apartment this morning and my neighbor asked if I was going to work or on a trip to Bermuda because I was carring so many things in my arms. I just want one big bag. But a cute bag. I want a cute big bag for the gym.
