New layout

A layout goddess I am not, so thank goodness there are other generous souls about who are willing to share their talents. I was a bit tired of my basic component layout, and so am now using Robber's Daughter by roniabirk, which is an opal variant, I believe. And very customizable. :-) I'm also really glad I saved this gorgeous Fool For Love banner which ( Read more... )

The moon is up,
It's getting late.
Let's get ready to celebrate.
It's pajama time.
Ooooh, yeah, it's pajama time!

What me, close my eyes and see Sandra Boynton books in my brain?

Never.

Btw, the Philedelphia Chickens CD is the ultimate crack for a little kid.

One can't read "Pajama Time", one must sing pajama time. With a little hip hop beat.

Yes, we must not forget the hip hop beat. Because the three of us aren't, say, the whitest women in the world or anything. *g*

Yo.

Very cool lay out, and the banner truly is gorgeous.

I know what you mean about heavy handed messages in novels, I usually like GM Ford a lot (mystery novels, he has a couple different series) but in his last one his passions were definitely more engaged by the politics of his plot than by his story.

And I look forward to seeing what other books you're reading. :-)

The banner is very cool, and I can say that as I had nothing to do with its creation.

As for books, February is my choice, and so we're reading "Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister" by Gregory Maguire, who also wrote "Wicked." I've heard good things, so we'll see.

I read 'Confessions' a couple years ago and I liked it. I'll be interested to hear what you think.

(And your icon is just as pretty as the banner.)
