Much the same sort of thing is beginning to happen over in the OLTL part of soapiness. The show has a serial rapist as a romantic lead, and what are certain people up in arms about? That there's going to be a gay story on the show.
I mean... Huh? Todd has raped, murdered, and kidnapped children, but that's okay. But Kish shouldn't happen? It's ridiculous. (Not Kish. Kish are cute!)
However they're just now growing beyond subtext. For months posters on TWOP kept saying in all good fun and hoyay that the 'history' the two shared back in day was broken love affair. (The slashy subtext was thick) And, apparently it was a slashy subtext the actors were aware of but were never told whether or not it would be pursued until... suddenly it's pursued. Now it's "Hey, they're putting text to our subtext!" :)
Only problem with the youtube channel is they're missing two scenes that they should have. They should have the Kyle interrogation scene where Fish finally spoke up and said that he believed Kyle's innocence (regarding the serial killings.) And they missed the scene where Kyle was the stripper at Natalie's bachelorette party. That was LOL!

I'm not entirely sure I can start watching this show, after all. (I did see some Jon Lindstrom scenes the other day, however. Mmmm.)
