I'm simply delighted to see a post from you! I've asked kybearfuzz to say howdy from me a couple of times! First - Happy Belated Birthday! Secondly, I'm on FB, but it just doesn't allow me to communicate in the way that works best for me ... too short, too sweet, too little real content.
It sounds like you're working on several positive changes. Good luck with your reelection and chorus work. There's nothing wrong with being single and independent ... it sure beats unhappy and in the wrong relationship!
I couldn't possibly keep in touch with everyone I have met and enjoy by reading all their personal blogs (nor would I really want to), but I enjoy little bits of info about how they spend their day and what they think is important to share with the world. I definitely think there is a place for Facebook and for Livejournal in the world.
Good for you on the diet change! Although you know I love the meat, everyone I know that has moved into a more vegetarian diet has found themselves to have more energy and felt better. I hope it works out!
Thanks :) I may have a meatgasm every now and then but I don't anticipate anything near the level that I eat it now. For me the idea is to be very conscious of what I'm consuming, and that extends far beyond my diet.
True, though I tried to keep up with a few shows on Hulu and couldn't schedule the time to do it. If I'm staring at a computer screen I feel like I should be multitasking.
Good luck on the decluttering/simplifying. I've been without cable/sattelite/etc for over 4 years now. I don't miss it at all! NetFlix, RabbitEars, and Hulu are much more financially viable than pissing away $100/month on cable.
