We took Corwin to the doctor today and he does not have an ear infection. Apparently it's just a cold. No explanation for the weird behavior last night, unless it was just due to teething.
glad to hear it's just a cold.. but I know from first hand experience how much it sucks to take care of a sicky when you're sick yourself.. just try and take it easy and have as laid back of a day as possible.. it's okay to lay on the couch while he's content playing.. even if it is short lived.. **hugs** hope the sickies feel better soon!! **passes the lysol**
Andrew came home mid-morning to drive us to Corwin's appt and wrangle Corwin while we were there. He headed back to work after lunch. I was very appreciative of having his help, cause I really didn't feel like driving and kid-wrangling at the doctor's office with my head as icky-feeling as it is. Andrew is fortunately about 75% better so he's getting to be the "in charge and get things done" person today. After Corwin's nap and snack we will probably do just what you said -- laze about the living room. I may even resort to putting in a movie to see if it will hold his attention (it would be his first movie ever, so no telling).
I'm glad that Andrew is feeling better and that he was able to come home and help! You're lucky that he is able to do that for you.. with Jim so far south he would have to take either a half or whole day depending on what was needed.. but HOPEFULLY our prayers will be answered and he will get a job closer to home soon..
On those rare occasions that we need movie/tv distraction, I've found that they boys are really happy watching youtube. I found all sorts of fun animal home videos and I'm happier on stuff like camera angles & lack of anything remotely commercial. There are also a lot of old Disney shorts, which are a lot of fun. I had better luck with 2-8 minute clips than trying to watch a movie. (Confessions of a TV-less family)
