The dried apples y'all introduced Corwin to are in fact available at Whole Foods here. They had several other dried fruits by the same company in stock, but no apples. I asked a fellow shopper who was perusing the said fruits at the same time I was if she knew if they normally carried the apples as well, and she said they do. I picked up a ( Read more... )

My boys have had the pears & the banana/strawberry ones and loved both (though technically, Alex hasn't had the strawberry bits because last time we had those, I hadn't given him strawberries yet, so I would pick them out and give them to Matthew instead).
Glad you found them!

excellent! I tend to grab a bag of the apples myself for a munchy, but I'm less fond of the pears - Peter love them, though, so we go through a whole case from CostCo in a few weeks :)

Glad Corwin likes them!

Hmmm. I seem to recall that the Coscto price was about $1 / bag (I don't remember the bag size; I think it was the 1/2 cup). Brother's online is $.60 / a bag for 200 ct (looks like free shipping).

So y'all might want to consider a bulk buy and split the results :-)

OK, time to wake up.

Hmm.... Liz - Paulina - thoughts? They are cheaper online, but you have to buy 200 bags of a single flavor. (But it's only $120 for those 200 bags).

I'd be willing to go in on that. Probably for apples at this point, as we've only tried apples and pears so far.

I'll talk to Liz if I see her tmw. I'd be inclined, if there's 3 of us, to do 2 boxes & split 3 ways (or 1/4 1/4 1/2 or something) to allow a little more variety. What would your 2nd flavor choice be? Banana strawberry, or pear, or peach? (We haven't tried peach, but the kids like the 2 others).

I love the apple ones! I picked them up randomly when I was in CA. Haven't tried the other ones though.
