We had a Kirby Vacuum salesperson show up at our door yesterday evening. Andrew answered, and from the other room I heard the man ask, "Are your parents home

I remember seeing some "Truth or Dare" knock off and now it'll drive me crazy until I remember the name. Gah. And I kinda agree about the Obama campaign. I can't check local news without 50 banner ads popping up, or look at Facebook without "How to caucus for Obama" teasers flashing. This all being said, I'm not "anti-Obama", but he hasn't captured my imagination and the over exposure is getting a little much.
Wow, interesting. We've gotten one phone call from Obama and that was through a legitimate (as in we had an actual connection with) source. We've been getting innundated by the Clinton campaign though and our patience is really wearing thin. We're getting 1-2 phone calls every night among other things.
Weird. That's pretty much the opposite of what we've gotten. We've gotten I think one random mailer from the clinton campaign vs nightly phone calls from the obama campaign. Wonder what data points they're comparing for austin vs houston that results in that total flip.
Yeah I was wondering how our demographics vary between cities and living locations and such. It's weird. Maybe Clinton just expected more support in higher-income hispanic and white Austin and Obama expected more support in lower-income, African American Houston?
This is interesting. We have not received any flyers or mailings for any candidates, and we have not received any phone calls either. The lack of calls may be due to the fact that we have an unlisted number though.
Oh, and I've gotten nothing from either campaign, but we are lucky to get our regular mail as they keep sending it to a different and non-existent address. Every company we deal with we have to explain our address isn't correct in Google (it just says Springtree--and all of the streets in our subdivision start off with Springtree btw). They try to deliver it to Springtree Pkwy which doesn't have our number addy (thank goodness or someone would have gotten all of our amazon and fedex packages). So, no political mailers. I have gotten some e-mail from the Libertarians (no longer a libertarian now that I've read their platform) and from Rudy Guiliani's campaign until he dropped out. I still haven't decided what primary to vote in. I more or less know that I don't want Obama to be president and I'm not really keen on Hilary either. I'd prefer someone who isn't going to tax my family to death and both of them are fiscally liberal. However, I'm not sure that McCain is a fiscal conservative and I know Huckabee isn't (plus he's a
