I am completely baffled. My Spanish professor just emailed me to give me my class and lab average, and apparently I missed the labs for chapter nine. I've never missed a lab in there. She always says, "Oh, bee tee dubs, you've got a lab due at midnight on such-and-such." I then go and do said labs, usually with some grumbling and swearing, because ( Read more... )

Well. I think it'll be okay. I do better in busier semesters. She acknowledged that it was insane, and she left the choice up to me. I'm more cracked in the head than she is. :D

Hey, at least you're getting through your classes this semester, think of how much that's an improvement to other semesters! :o
I'm sure you'll manage next semester too. Snacks will keep you alive during that semester. Canoeing sounds fun for a gym class though! :D
I had a semester like that my first semester at UNCA. I think I had a lunch break in there, but it was pretty much 8 or 9 to 4:30 or 5. No fun, but it was manageable. I don't think I had 18 hrs and so much science though :p

I've already discussed the how-is-Nikki-going-to-eat bit with my mom. The good thing about my meds is that I don't really have much of an appetite during the day anyway. I'll need to graze somewhere in there, but I don't need much.

I remember my second year, I had two days where it was 8am to 4pm, no breaks.

Thank god our professors didn't care about us eating in class, because seriously? Not doing that.

I've been told that the class that kills my hopes of a lunch break (choir), the prof will let you nom at the beginning or end of class if you have to.

On semester, I let the girl I was dating do my schedule. Classes started at 8 and went until noonish. Then I worked until 4:30, and then I had a gap of nothing until like 8 or 9 or whenever that stupid Astronomy class started. I suppose it wouldn't have been that bad, except for the fact that we stopped dating half way through the semester, and I spent the rest of the time wanting to kill her.

I skipped class a lot that semester.
