I am watching the semi-animated version of Watchmen for the first time at the moment as I couldn't get into the book, and dear god I hate the Comedian so much >>>>>>>>>>:(

Yeah, basically the only likeable characters there are the really minor ones, like Rorschach's psychiatrist. IDK, I wasn't at all impressed with it the first time I read it, but it stuck with me, and rereading it was excellent because even though I don't really get that engaged emotionally and NEEDS MOAR CHICKS (holy shit, I had this mental image of Tilda Swinton as Rorschach and it's SO AWESOME) it gives me so much glee because it's...like, Arrested Development is the only thing where I'm like "oh man, there's something new EVERY TIME".

In a major irony, all things considered, I think the Comedian and Dr. Manhattan are probably the ones I sympathize with most. D:

This. I've only seen the first two chapters on my tiny iPod screen so far- it's a little strange having the same actor voice everbody, but I think it works.
