There is now about a month to go until the final deadline so we thought it was about time to let you all know what to expect over the next few weeks. Apologies for this long post, we didn't want any of it hidden under a cut.

great. I stored my vid at a private 4shared... but after all I will upload it on YT. My writer already saw the vid, so I have to wait untill my writer tells me were to link..or what ever... Ohh sorry a newbee is asking.. I`m puzzled LOL.

Hey. When is gets to your posting date (which will be assigned at the end of September) you would need to make your finished video available where everyone can see it. This can be simply be youtube or you could could embed it in a post in your own LJ or anywhere else as long as people can access it.

You would then share that link (to youtube or your LJ) with your writer so they can include it in their masterpost at this community.

This is am exampe of a post from last year where the writer worked with a vidder: http://ci5-boxoftricks.livejournal.com/16041.html and if you follow the link you can see how this vidder decided to post.

I hope that helps a little but please ask if you have any questions and we will try and answer them.

For now you don't need to do anything but wait until the deadline passes and the posting schedule is put up. And we will go into more details closer to the time.

Funny how a tremor of excitement and nerves ran through me when I read those words! And I was the first to post my story last year, that was nervewracking, I'll tell you!

I wrote well this morning, Doyle is all banged up but soon to be rescued and I can see the end of the story as an attainable goal. Yippee

Well I know I am excited but then I suppose I am just sitting back waiting for all the goodies. I can guarantee though you have no need to be nervous.

When I saw the date, I had a panic moment. How would I ever finish on time? But during the course of the day, I have realised that the deadline is a GOOD thing. I will finish my piece. I will revise my piece. And then it will be ready. Of course I will then be able to panic about posting it though I've tried out AO3 and it worked fine.

So only two more chapters to go. Woohoo!!!

Nope no panicking allowed *g*. Seriously though there is still a month and I just know you will make it with tons of time to spare.
