Hey, one question: do you know the post character / word limit on AO3? I was considering resurrecting that account / posting over there.

I never thought figuring out natural breaking points would be an issue, but it's come up in the past few days.

Hey I don't actually know if there is one. I took a look at their FAQs about works here: http://archiveofourown.org/archive_faqs/8. But couldn't track anything down.

From my own personal reading experience there I know you can break a story into chapters on AO3 and it can be as many chapters as you like. But you can also do stories in one go as well.

I have seen stories posted in one go that were very long. For example this fic http://archiveofourown.org/works/131605 is in one post and is about 75000 words.

Hope that helps a bit.

Thanks! This should work, though I can play around with it if need be.

Hi {{waving madly}}

Any hint of the earliest turn in date? I will be traveling to London - spending madcap time there and sadly returning home during Sept and I want to turn in my story.

Hello

I don't see any problem with an early hand in date but I'll check with the other mods about exactly what we need from you and send you a PM with more information.

Hey again. Just to let you know I've just sent you a PM but have been having problems with LJ so I'll send you a quick email from the prosbigbang email address just to make sure you get this.

Sorry, I don't quite understand this bit about artsts' rough draft. For example, if i'm making a photomanip, what should i post? The pic, that is not finished? I don't like the idea of posting the not finished picture, in case with manips it will look just awful. May it be a small piece of a picture? Or one picture from a range?
Thank you

Hello, essentially the rough draft for art only comes to the mods and it will only be seen by us. So you don't have to worry about it being unfinished or finished.

And you can send us anything that you would like. It is just so we get the reassurance that it will be ready for the posting date that you, and your writer, are assigned.

I hope that helps. If not please let me know and I will try and answer any other questions you have.
